This website policy on data collection and tracking (Policy) is a general statement about the Raimondi Alumni Association Limited’s privacy policies and practices with regard to the personal data we handle when you use our website. We are extremely committed to protecting the privacy of the individuals who provide personal data to us. Therefore, we ask that you read this Policy carefully as it contains important information about how we will use your personal data.


I. Personal data we may collect about you

We use cookies and other similar tracking technology to collect personal data about you.

We will notify you whenever we collect personal data about you via a data protection notice.

We will collect certain personal data about you, such as your:


  • name

  • address

  • payment details, and

  • contact details

We will collect your personal data whenever you:


  • complete an online form

  • register to use our website

  • send us feedback

  • purchase our goods or services, and

  • contact us

We may monitor your use of this website through the use of cookies and similar tracking devices. For example, we may monitor:


  • how many times you visit our website

  • which pages you visit

  • traffic data, and

  • location data

  • a matching procedure

  • order fulfilment and billing

III. Disclosure of your personal data

  • other companies within our group

  • our agents and service providers (such as providers of web hosting or maintenance services), and

  • law enforcement agencies in connection with any investigation to help prevent unlawful activity

You may request that we cease to transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing activities, at any time at no cost.


IV. Keeping your personal data secure

We will use technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal data, such as:


  • ensuring that access to your account is controlled by password and user name that are unique to you and are of a certain password strength

  • storing your personal data on secure servers, and

  • encrypting your payment details using secure stock layer technology

In addition, where we engage external data processor(s) to process your personal data, we will use contractual measures to safeguard your personal data, such as:


  • preventing any personal data transferred to the data processor from being kept longer than is necessary for the processing of the data

  • preventing unauthorised or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss or use of the data transferred to the data processor for processing

  • requiring that security measures are taken by the data processor to protect the personal data entrusted to it

  • requiring that the data processor complies with the data protection principles in the PDPO

  • prohibiting any use or disclosure of personal data by the data processor for a purpose other than the purpose for which the personal data is entrusted to it, and

  • ensuring the timely return, destruction or deletion of the personal data when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was entrusted by the data user to the data processor

V. Opting out of cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files made up of letters and numbers that are stored on a web user's terminal equipment. Cookies are an important element of internet usage as they are used to store user site preferences, passwords and also for online behavioural advertising (eg targeting advertisements at web users based on their previous web browsing history).

Opting out of tracking or collection of personal data by us can be done by changing your browser settings so that cookies are not accepted.

However, choosing to do so will affect your user experience of the website. For example, we might no longer be able to suggest any products or services that we think you might prefer should you opt out of the data collection and tracking.


VI. Your rights

In compliance with the data protection principles of the PDPO, you also have the right, subject to a fee, to:


  • request access to personal data within a reasonable time

  • request that you be informed by us as to whether we hold your personal data

  • be supplied with a copy of such data, and

  • ask us to correct personal data that is held with us

Where you have allowed us to use your personal data for direct marketing, you have the right to change your mind and request that we cease doing so.
